Water & Steel provides full-service structural engineering on residential and small commercial projects.  Our construction documents include foundation and framing plans along with details, general construction notes, and specifications when needed.  We provide site inspections and field reports to verify our structural design is properly constructed.

Water & Steel specializes in wood, structural steel, and concrete masonry design.  We also design spread foundation systems and retaining walls.  We have experience with a variety of additional building systems including concrete, light gage steel, Aerated Autoclaved Concrete Block (AAC), straw-bale, and mass stone.  We also love researching less frequently used structural materials and systems.  We are not offering pre-purchase structural house inspections at this time.

Our favorite structural element is the cantilever, and we are quietly hoping the buttress comes back into fashion.
